The Heritage House
Built in 1854 by Milton Foster Douglas and his father John, with Eliza Telfer-Douglas at home beside him.
Twelve months inside the North Queens Heritage House. A perfect local gift - and every copy supports heritage projects.
This year's calendar takes you room by room through the 1854 Douglas house - the kitchen, the pantry, the barbershop, the treasures out on the lawn - and the people whose stories they hold.
Each month pairs an archival or museum photograph with a short story written by Society volunteers. November carries the story of Gunner Erwin Hendry, from the North Queens Remembers book published for Remembrance Day 2025.
