Each year the Society hires students to open the Heritage House to visitors and to help care for the archive.
Our positions are usually funded through federal student employment programs such as Canada Summer Jobs and Young Canada Works, which means they are generally open to students returning to school in the fall. Exact eligibility, wages and dates are confirmed in each year's posting.
The 2026 season positions have been filled - thank you to everyone who applied. Postings for summer 2027 are expected in March 2027.

Be the face of the Heritage House. Welcome visitors, lead tours of the period rooms, share the stories behind the collection and help with events on the lawn.
Work behind the scenes on the Society's paper and photograph archive - scanning, describing and rehousing material so it can be found and used for decades to come.
