Guardians of North Queens' Enduring Story

The North Queens Heritage Society manages the North Queens Heritage House Museum in the scenic heart of Caledonia, Nova Scotia.

Constructed in 1854 by Milton Foster Douglas and his father John Douglas, the museum preserves generations of North Queens memories. Highlights include authentic 19th-century period rooms, a genuine vintage barbershop, the Ruth Baxter Memorial Library, rare local gold mining relics, and expansive forestry displays.

The Caledonia Citizens Band

Founded in the early 20th century, the band brought joy to Queen's County exhibitions and celebrations. On display are historic brass horns, drums, uniforms, and the handwritten 1919 minute books.
